Storytelling for kidney research |
|
On 13th November The Chaos Game will host a storytelling evening in the wonderful surroundings of the James McKay Hall at the Kings College Conference Centre, Aberdeen University to raise funds for kidney research, an endeavour which receives much less support than, for example, cancer research, and yet the effects of renal failure can be just as devastating to patients and their families.
Aberdeen University’s Institute of Medical Sciences is recognised world-wide for its research in the medical sciences, and it is one of the three charities which The Chaos Game supports. Our professional storyteller colleague, Sue Hollingsworth, will lead the evening, using story to explore five centuries of medicine at the University of Aberdeen, which had the first chair of medicine in the English speaking world .
